About me
My experience includes more than two decades in biotech, health tech, digital health and healthcare markets -- providing executive leadership, business strategy, business development, corporate, product and pipeline communications, stakeholder engagement, policy and advocacy, as a CEO, COO and in a consulting capacity.
In October 2020, I stepped in at the board's request as interim CEO of Global Genes, in a fractional role under Rithm Health, the consultancy I founded in 2018. We grew revenue by more than 15% in 2021, reversing a sharp decline in the previous year, revamped staff (replacing 60% of the team, hiring 16 people), and introduced a dozen new programs, initiatives and technology upgrades. One such initiative was a partnership with RARE-X, a non-profit patient data collection platform I helped found in 2019. We initiated a merger agreement with RARE-X in 2022, which was successfully completed in December.
Prior to establishing Rithm Health, I led Ogilvy | Feinstein Kean Healthcare and was a global lead for biotech and health tech at Ogilvy Consulting. In my various roles at Ogilvy and FKH, I worked with dozens of emerging and established organizations (from biotechs like moderna and Spark in their formative stages to Pfizer, J&J and other global companies) to attract investment and partnerships, develop and elevate brands, products and services, engage key stakeholders, build value and market presence, and advance and expand access to life-changing treatments and technologies.
Over the past 25+ years, I've led and grown organizations based in Cambridge, MA; New York; Washington, DC; Orange County, CA; and Brussels, Belgium. Throughout, I've maintained a passion for disruptive innovation and sought to leverage my expertise to drive progress and support growth companies and new technologies with the potential to significantly improve the lives and health of people. I plan to maintain that focus moving forward, working as part of or in consultation with executive teams that are advancing promising science to address unmet medical conditions and health needs.
